About this process

Define the objective of your meetings or asynchronous meeting, gauge people's sentiments to better understand their thoughts, and ask impactful questions to achieve the meeting's objective using this tool/template. This tool/template has been curated to understand the collective perception of a problem, challenge or pain. Clearly define the (O)bjective of the meeting, assess how people (F)eel, and ask powerful (Q)uestions to accomplish the meeting's objective. This can be use async or sync.

1. Hi there! The goal of this meeting is to fully understand the problem and the collective expectations we have.

I would like to discuss a challenge with you with the objective of better understanding your experience and perspective about the challenge. This way, we can gain a good understanding of the problem before we define the right solution and strategy for it.

2. 🔥How would you define the problem?

How would you define the problem? What do you think we are trying to solve? What's the root of the problem from your perspective? How big of a problem is it? For whom? Why and when is this a problem?

💥Note: Please add a note indicating if what you are describing is one of the following: 1) I know this because clients have told me, 2) I know this because I have experienced it, 3) I know this because..., 4) This is an assumption based on what I hear and see. Adding one of these four statements is important because it helps me/us understand how much we know versus how much we are assuming. It's crucial that we are honest here. It's okay if we don't know or if we are not fully sure, but what we want to avoid is spending time on something that has become a rumor or belief among us.
