1. Preparation (Internal)
A Photojournal is like a picture diary that shows how someone lives. It helps people share their own stories in a simple and powerful way.
Instead of just talking to someone, we give them a camera and ask them to take pictures based on a question you give them. For example, if we're making a financial service, we might ask them to take pictures of people who influence their money decisions. Then, we ask them to explain each picture when we meet. This helps us understand them better and have more meaningful discussions.
Here are the steps:
1. Give them a camera and a question to answer with pictures. ๐ป
2. They take the pictures and write a short description. ๐ค
3. When we meet, they show us the pictures and explain what they mean. We ask them questions to understand their feelings and choices behind each photo.๐
2. Instructions.
๐Get a Camera: This camera is for you to take pictures of moments and things related to the question we give you.
๐Read the Prompt: We'll give you a question or a topic to think about. For example, if we're focusing on finances, we might ask you to take pictures of people who influence your money decisions, or places where you handle finances.
๐Take Pictures: Use the camera to take pictures that answer the question or show different aspects of your life related to the topic. Try to capture everyday moments and things that matter to you.
๐Add Descriptions: After taking each picture, write a short description explaining what the picture is about and why you took it. This helps us understand the story behind each image.
๐ Prepare for the Meeting: When we meet, be ready to show us the pictures you took and explain them to us. Think about why you chose each picture and what it means to you. Also, think about what you decided not to include and why.
๐ตBe Honest: Don't worry about taking perfect pictures. Just be honest and capture things as they are. Your photos and explanations will help us understand you better.
