1. Things inside our control vs things outside our control
Use the circle of control (also known as the 3 spheres of influence) to think about what you can and can't control so that you can learn to focus on what's within your control. Know that you are doing everything you can and be at peace with that.
Always focus on what's within your control. Build habits and practice committing to change the things you can control, and influence what you can on a small scale. Avoid focusing on external factors beyond your control.
Remember, shifting your mindset to focus on what you can control is a learned habit. This habit involves looking at circumstances or challenges, exploring what you can control, letting go of the rest, and defining and growing as a person. You are what you practice, so the more you practice this mindset shift, the more natural it will become. This will give you peace of mind, help you grow, and reduce frustration.
