1. Individual sketching - 1:15 min.
15 min break. 15 min individual brainstorming: Use a pen and paper. Turn on the music or that song that makes you feel good. Write down those "How might we..." ideas that you thought were surprising, interesting, or inspiring. Start sketching your first ideas. Your sketches don't need to be perfect or beautiful. You don't need to show this to anyone. Try at least sketching 4 different ideas. 45 min developing the solution sketch: Spend the last 30 minutes sketching your proposal. This is the sketch your will be sharing with your team. Once you are already, take a picture and add your sketch to the whiteboard. Add a title and notes. Try to sell your idea. Think of a headline and highlight key features. Make sure your sketch is self-explanatory and will be able to catch people's attention without your intervention. Don't add your name and lock all the elements once you are done. TOTAL: 1:15h ⏰ Mark this step as "complete for me" once you are done. 👌
2. The observant view - 15 min.
You have 15 minutes to go ever all the solutions (in silence) As if you had laser eyes, you will add dots to those areas you think are interesting. You can use as many dots as you want.
3. Discussion - 30 min.
Discussion: The facilitator or someone will take the lead and go over each sketch ask questions like: This is interesting: "Who has added this dot here? What made this interesting to you?" I can see a lot of dots here, and I am curious... Can some of you share your thoughts? Vote - 3 dots per person (5 min): Use the yellow dot to vote for a solution. You have 3 yellow dots,** and you can vote 3 solutions or vote one single solution with those dots.
