1. Contact Interviewees
Add the script here and contact people who represent your audience for interviews (use the Universe of Study tool to establish your audience). Ask them to meet for 30-60 min to talk about the subject you are working on. This interview can be in groups or done individually. Make sure you are not talking about difficult or sensitive topics if you decide to do a group interview.
2. Prepare Interviews: Add your questions here
To prepare for the interview, write down a quick introduction to the topic, and create a list of questions you would like to ask. Here are some sample questions: What can’t you live without? What is the most expensive thing you use/own? What would you do if you had more money? What are you trying to save money for? What would you do if you had more time? What brings more opportunity? List everything that brings money into your household/workplace. List everything that saves you money or time. List everything that takes money, time, or opportunity away Add key expenses and income to a yearly calendar (to see when they have money and when they are more strapped for cash) Note: Make sure you create a Card deck or photos (if needed) for this session and prepare the board before you move forward. Keep in mind that the purpose of this tool is to understand how the customer uses their resources. By the end of the interview, you want to understand their priorities and how money or time affects their decisions.

3. Prepare the Interview
Prepare the board for viewing by your participant by adding relevant materials you want them to see. Create a card deck if you want to evaluate a process and you want to share photos or specific information. Send a reminder and add all the information: Day & Time, Skype, Purpose, who will be leading the interview, etc At the interview, make sure you are recording, and give each interviewee access to Nova as a Participant/Guest. Note: They will be able to see all the changes on the board.
4. Open the board to visualize and share ideas and thoughts during the interview
