1. The Must-have (or must do) vs Must-avoid

Place product features and ideas you want to discuss onto the sticky board, and into the correct column. We have two columns: Must-have:** Excluding one of these qualities or features will be negative because the customer/user expects it or because it's very attractive to the customer. Must-avoid:** Excluding one of these qualities or features will be positive.

  • MUST-HAVE
  • 1
  • The customer/user does not care about it (or will be unfavorable)
  • Features, design, actions, and results expected by the customer (competing products include it, or it is a defining or differentiating characteristic of your product). Excluding this feature will be negative for the same reasons.
