1. Add competitor products and features to the board
Indicate who the main competitors are and list the key characteristics, services, and features you are comparing. Ensure your company name is included in the first column.
2. First evaluation
Based on the initial competitors mentioned and the type of initiative (feature, solution, product, service, or a mix) explored during this phase, create a quick competitive analysis of how competitors address a similar solution or approach to the problem. Define the most critical characteristics or features, and rate them from 0 to 5:
Below each competitor's evaluation, indicate their strategic positioning based on their current focus, and identify where a market opportunity exists for our company. Create a single 1-page document to kick off this team discussion."
I will now generate the 1-page Competitive Matrix & Strategic Positioning Brief designed for your team kickoff discussion.
3. Discuss and evaluate each feature
You will use a 1 to 5 scale to evaluate each feature. Where:
👎1 = Bad implementation and design 👍5 = Great usability, design and implementation
4. Comments and thoughts
Add any final thoughts on what this means for your competitive advantage and how you might move forward based on areas of low or high ratings.

1. Create a User Story Map for this Initiative
AI Only (first draft)
2. Introduction to User Story Mapping.
Product-development teams can use story mapping to drive product discussion and align everyone's efforts at any stage of the process. Story maps can be used for new products after discovery work, or for existing products after usability testing.
The user story map helps teams illustrates how the solutions can solve the problems research activities have uncovered.
Team norms: 👩🚀👩⚕🦸♂
3. Activities.
Describe the high-level tasks that users aim to accomplish using the digital product, such as 'checking the account balance' or 'depositing a check'. (Usage process)
These will potentially be transform into "initiatives or epics" or just represent certain user activities.
Next, describe the activity or problem if needed (Details)
4. Steps.
Steps appear under activities and are arranged sequentially. To complete the activity above, users will go through specific subtasks in the product. In the activity, Deposit a check, the steps are: Enter mobile deposit details, Sign check, Photograph check, Submit deposit, and Confirm deposit. (user tasks)
If you are a product manager, often steps can represent some of the user stories and can help you define some of the requirements.
Thinks about all the steps and use cases.
5. Add additional Details.
You can add additional details by adding a sticky note (use a different color) to describe the lowest-granularity interactions the team anticipates users will experience. These are often similar to product requirements like 'Enter email' ' Enter password'
6. MVP or next release.
Identifying the minimum viable product (or next release) and prioritizing it based on well-informed judgment by analyzing the User story map.
Team members can use story maps to visualize what their minimum-viable-product release could or should include, along with how and when to release end-to-end product increments with specific goals and outcomes.
Think about the requirements that are:
Discuss this with your team and make the final decision based on what you want to validate first. Also consider things like costs, time, etc.
Move to the next release those that are nice to have but can't be implemented for this release.
7. Deliverable
Convert the completed whiteboard user story map into a 1- to 2-page PDF document for the initiative.

1. Hi there! Let me share this design with you.
👉Remember that, although you can choose when to participate within the given⚡ timeframe, we do have a 📅 due date for this work. Failing to meet this deadline will result in all future deadlines being pushed back and the project being delayed. I take our goals and timelines very seriously, so please make sure to participate before the due date. Please note that you will NOT be able to participate or collaborate once the due date has passed.
Kindly add this feedback session to your calendar and allocate sufficient time to provide your feedback.🙏

2. 👩🎨👩🎤 Use Case Evaluation
👉In this design, we considered [specific use case] and prioritized [specific feature]. However, our product often encounters extreme or unique use cases. 👩🎨👩🎤Can you think of any such scenarios that might not be supported by this design? 🧝♂Who are the exceptions? Would anyone need a different approach or solution? Who should not be affected by the changes?
You can skip this step if we are covering all use cases.
3. 📍Usability & Risk Assessment
👉When examining the usability of this design and the user's journey to accomplish [specific task], can you identify any potential gaps or risks?
👉Are there any other limitations, risks, or challenges you would like to share with us? 🤔 Do you foresee any risks that would require immediate intervention or mitigation? What is your main concern with this initiative, if any? What are the limitations that based on your experience exist or should be considered now?
Instructions: 👇Add one per sticky note. Please add one suggestion per sticky note, keeping it concise. If a risk or challenge isn't clear, I'll reach out to you or schedule a meeting to gain a better understanding. It's crucial that each sticky note contains only one suggestion to facilitate voting using emojis. Feel free to use the (🔥) emoji to mark suggestions as high-priority.
4. 🤑 Cost & Implementation Considerations
👉As designers, we aim to develop the best solution for our clients while also considering the cost and potential challenges during implementation. Is there anything you believe 😶should be changed or removed to reduce costs or ease the implementation and distribution phases? How can we reduce costs? If you could remove one thing, what would you exclude from the scope to cut costs?
Skip this step if you think is design can be implemented and distribute easily and you don't have any suggestions.
5. 👍 Any additional ideas or recommendations?
Please add your ideas and suggestions below.
Use one sticky note per idea and keep it concise. You will also be able to view and interact with others' suggestions and ideas, so feel free to vote or organize them using emojis. Use the thumbs up 👍 emoji to indicate your liking for an idea.
👀Help me understand your priorities.
Choose 1! ❤ Can you think of one single improvement that could really help our team, clients, increase revenue, or reduce costs? If so, please mark that sticky note with this ❤️emoji so we can see which ideas are important to you. If someone else has added an idea that seems important and you'd like to prioritize it, do the same.

1. 🚀 Define Product Core & Purpose: What it is and the primary problem it solves.
Start by clarifying the fundamental aspects of this product or feature. What core problem does it solve for users or the market? What is its primary objective or desired impact? This foundation ensures marketing messaging is precisely targeted.
Consider these reflective questions:
Share your comprehensive understanding of the product's core purpose and value proposition.
2. ✨ Highlight Key Features & Differentiators: Standout capabilities and functional details.
Indicate the 3-5 most compelling features that set this product apart from alternatives. Focus on what makes it truly unique and valuable to the target audience. Your insights here will become core pillars of our marketing messages.

List each key feature or differentiator on a separate sticky note. Vote 👍 on the most impactful ones to help us prioritize.
3. 👤 Detail Target User Profile: Who is using it and why.
Provide a clear and detailed profile of the ideal target user for this product or feature. Understanding their demographics, psychographics, pain points, and desired outcomes is crucial for crafting relevant marketing campaigns.
Consider:
Detail the primary target user profile, including key insights into their needs and motivations.
4. 🎨 Share Design & Brand Elements
From a design perspective, what are the essential visual and brand guidelines for this product? Marketing needs access to approved assets, brand voice definitions, and any specific messaging "dos and don'ts" to maintain consistency.
Include:
Upload relevant design assets or links, and summarize key brand messages and guidelines.
Action: Upload relevant design assets or provide links and summarize critical brand messaging.
5. 🗓️ Outline Launch Readiness & Milestones: Key dates (beta, general availability, rollout phases).
Provide a realistic overview of the product's readiness for launch and any critical milestones. This helps marketing plan their campaigns to align perfectly with product availability and development phases.
Include:

8. ✅ Consolidate for GTM Strategy
You've provided valuable insights! Now it's time to consolidate this information to kickstart the go-to-market strategy. The data collected here will be the foundation for the marketing team to know what's new, how to market the solution and to who and what other details are important.
"Create a document that includes: Product Overview, Target Audience, Key Value Proposition & Differentiators, Design & Brand Guidelines, Launch Timeline & Milestones, Core Messaging Themes, and Key Success Metrics. Ensure the tone is strategic and action-oriented for the marketing team"
9. Review AI-Generated Document
Review the document created by AI to verify its accuracy. If any errors are found, update the document and share the new version with the marketing team (as referenced in the previous step). Mark this step as done once the review is complete, whether the document was updated or left as is.
10. Additional questions or information
Skip if there are no additional questions. Use this space to ask questions or request extra details, ensuring all key points shaping the marketing strategy are preserved across channels. To get the attention of the right team member, tag them using @Name.
11. Consolidate Project Resources
Review the file to evaluate whether any additional documents or information are needed. Add all relevant files and documents to this location so the project folder is complete and accessible to the entire team.
12. Confirm & Complete
Mark this step as complete, to indicate that all initial information required to build the marketing strategy has been received, and we are officially moving to the next phase. If additional details or clarifications are needed while developing the strategy, we will address them during future sessions.
GTM Plan

Visual Plan
- 3
Check-in meeting or plan into a visual image that includes all sticky notes as actions.

1. Think through the plan together.
Explore, discuss, and start adding key actions and initiatives—each on its own sticky note—so you can move them independently. You can also add new ones as you think of them.
Next, place the notes on the board by identifying what needs to happen at the same time versus what must follow sequentially. Think through the plan together to help your team visualize how to get from where you are to where you want to be.
Use the horizontal axis to represent time, and use rows to represent whatever categorization makes the most sense for your team—such as different departments, team members, objectives, or strategic pillars (e.g., internal operations, client impact, or revenue).
2. Visual Plan
👉Finally, turn this plan into a visual image that includes all sticky notes as actions and initiatives, clearly demonstrating how work will be prioritized.
3. Check-in meeting or plan into a visual image that includes all sticky notes as actions.
Once the roadmap overview is solid, turn this into a recurring session for your regular meetings. Use these sessions to review progress, convert sticky notes into formal tasks, and track updates, delays, and changes to the plan.
