1. Define the WIG 🎯: What’s Our Wildly Important Goal (WIG)?
Let’s clarify the most important outcome we want to achieve in the next 90 days.
👉 Use this format: “From X to Y by Z”
📌 This should be specific, measurable, and time-bound.
Examples: “Grow our weekly leads from 20 to 60 by October 30”
2. Identify Lead Measures 📊
WIGs lag behind action. Let’s list the key lead measures — the high-impact actions we can control that drive progress.
👉 What are the 1–2 activities we must do consistently to achieve the WIG?
📌 Example: “Follow up with 10 leads per week,” “Publish 2 blog posts weekly”
3. Highlight Blockers: 🧨 What Might Derail Us?
Mark red any blocker that feels like a major issue using this emoji 🔴
4. Team Commitments 🤝: How often would you meet, and track progress?
Commit to one specific actions and commitments and plan you agenda following these commitments.
5. Scoreboard Setup: 🧮 How Will We Track Progress?
Scoreboard Setup: 🧮 How Will We Track Progress?
Let’s agree on how we’ll track both lead measures and the WIG.
👉 What dashboard, sheet, or space will we use?
👉 Who will update it, and how often?

3. Weekly Check-In Rhythm 🔁
Commit to one specific action you’ll take this week to push the WIG forward. Let’s list the high-impact actions we can control that drive progress.
👉 This is part of our cadence of accountability — we’ll revisit it regularly.
📌 “I will complete X by Friday” assign yourself and add a date (manage your tasks inside your calendar)
Evaluation

What is our current way of executing? Is it defined — or just happening by inertia?
- 2
Is your action plan or strategy sitting in a PowerPoint presentation or just a list of tasks? If yes, that’s an intention, not a strategy.
- 3
Do we have a visible system that keeps us focused, brings everyone together, makes it clear who’s working on what, when, and how we collaborate — and empowers teams to move forward with confidence?
- 4
Do these systems and processes help guide people, or are you relying on meetings and constant explanations?
- 5
Is it working — or does your team keep making mistakes and never seem to fully understand the/your expectations?
- 6
Do we have a set of habits that help the team move forward and create a good rhythm?
