1. Core goals

List the firm's core values in the first column. These three to eight phrases broadly define the shoulds and shouldn't that govern your company's underlying decisions and describe the personality of the organization. What are your core values? ⭐ If your company was a living organism with a distinct personality - explain that personality through values. This is a discovery process and should be tested.

2. Core Purpose.

If the first column represents the SOUL of the organization, then column 2 presents its HEART.

This column answers very basic questions:

•Why is this company doing what it's doing?
•What's its higher purpose?
•What should we have passion for what we're doing?
4. The next 3 years: Big Strategic Goals

Your 3-year financial target should be 🙌aspirational and aggressive. Let's start! Start by adding a future date. Set the ending date for this medium-term planning period. Revenues: Consider hitting a target revenue that's twice what it is today. Profit: Consider targeting three times industry average profitability. this is the definition of great vs. good company. Mkt.Cap: Set a goal for what the company will be worth and how much cash you will have in the bank. Year highly achievable goal. 3-5 differentiators. Clearly articulate the key needs you're going to satisfy for this sandbox: the measurable brand promise. Include KPIs.

5. 1 year big strategic goal.

1. 1-year big strategic goal.

•Ending date of your fiscal year.
•How much cash do we want in the bank on this date and what do we want our topline revenue to be for the fiscal year?
•What will be the total widgets we'll have to sell in order to achieve that cash in the bank?

2. Create a list of annual priorities.

3. Critical Number.

This can end up in a draft for now, but it will be good enough.

6. 90 Days. The strategic goal and priorities.

90 days How much cash do we want in the bank on this date and what do we want our topline revenue to be for the fiscal year? What will be the total widgets we'll have to sell in order to achieve that cash in the bank? Create a list of quarterly priorities. Critical Number. This can end up in a draft for now, but it will be good enough.

7. Culture: Theme & team rituals.
•Theme Name: Brainstorm a fun and relevant title for the quarterly theme. Current movie or song titles work well.
•Celebration: The quarterly theme gives you a reason to host an event to either celebrate the accomplishment of a big goal.
•Reward: Incentives or prizes.
8. Key results, metrics and quarterly priorities.

Revisit this every 3 months.

1. 🧭 OKRs

These objectives are linked to company objectives, ensuring the department’s OKRs support broader organizational goals. They consider how the department interacts with others, the limitations and priorities of other departments, and how to best align OKRs to promote synergy.

Add one task per objective. Within the details and description, include a short explanation, any important links to relevant documents, and clearly indicate the key results that will be tracked. Additionally, include the current status of each key result. For example, if a key result is revenue, specify the current revenue and the estimated revenue needed to achieve the objective.
